The ILA Removal Stylet is designed for the quick and easy removal of supralaryngeal airways following oral-tracheal intubation through such devices.
The Stylet was specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Intubating Laryngeal Airway (ILA).
With its patented design, the Stylet stabilizes the previously-inserted oral endotracheal tube (OETT) and allows controlled removal of the ILA without dislodging the OETT from the trachea. The Stylet is available in two sizes (Size 0 and Size 1). Both come in disposable and reusable versions.

(A) The taper allows the Stylet to accomodate standard OETT's in multiple sizes (5.0 - 8.5). |
| |
|
| |
(B) The ridges engage the OETT in a firm, secure grip, giving the user control of the OETT during the ILA removal process. |
| |
|
| |
(C) The grooves allow spontaneously breathing patients unimpeded air passage within the OETT during removal of the ILA. |
| |
|
| |
(D) The struts allow a more secure grip on the Stylet during the rotational movement of insertion. |
