The ILA Removal Stylet is designed for the quick and easy removal of supralaryngeal airways following oral-tracheal intubation through such devices.

The Stylet was specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Intubating Laryngeal Airway (ILA).

With its patented design, the Stylet stabilizes the previously-inserted oral endotracheal tube (OETT) and allows controlled removal of the ILA without dislodging the OETT from the trachea. The Stylet is available in two sizes (Size 0 and Size 1). Both come in disposable and reusable versions.

(A) The taper allows the Stylet to accomodate standard OETT's in multiple sizes (5.0 - 8.5).       (B) The ridges engage the OETT in a firm, secure grip, giving the user control of the OETT during the ILA removal process.       (C) The grooves allow spontaneously breathing patients unimpeded air passage within the OETT during removal of the ILA.       (D) The struts allow a more secure grip on the Stylet during the rotational movement of insertion.
